Ever thought about making a spider web quilt? The pattern of a spider web is beautiful so why not use it as inspiration for a quilt.
In fact, nature has so many nice patterns, if we just would stop and take a closer look….look at the leafs, a stone covered by moss etc. So many patterns for us to use when we want to be creative!
I found this beautiful quilt on this blog: Life in the Scrapatch…..and I have to say I love it!
Soon summer and we might look for new quilting pattern that fits the season. I found this lovely free pattern on a blog this morning. Head to: http://www.mccallsquilting.com/blogs/blog/2016/06/10/friday-free-quilt-patterns-gelato/ if you want to see how it is done. I think the patterns is lovely…don’t you?
This little cute bowl is actually magnetic! Yes, it is an ordinary bowl made of porcelain, but Amy at diaryofaquilter.com got this brilliant idea to make this rice bowl magnetic. How she made it? With ordinary button magnets glued at the bottom. She needed strong ones so the magnets worked even through the porcelain! I think it is a great idea worth of sharing!
